What is an Interactive Whiteboard?

It is an electronic device which can interact with a computer and projects images on a screen. Through this device we can give presentations in schools, colleges, workplace and workgroups. An interactive whiteboard projects the image or data which is generated by the computer to which it is connected. These whiteboards have keyboard and mouse functionality and some of them can even recognize characters, through which text can be written on the whiteboard and recorded.

To use interactive whiteboard, connect it to a computer through a USB cable, bluetooth or infrared. Install the device driver program of the whiteboard onto the computer. Then re-start the computer. As soon as the computer will re-boot, the interactive whiteboard will become functional. Interactive whiteboards use different types of positional systems to determine the position of the characters written on the board and to store them.
